I asked my husband if he could drill some holes through some china plates for me so I could make a tiered trays that would match my old china dishes. He watched on You Tube to figure out how to do it. We ordered these bits and they worked perfectly. He did a beautiful job drilling the holes through all of the plates and I know have tiered plates that match my dishes. It would have cost a fortune to have had someone do it for me.
