Im just gong to copy and paste this review to all the Lenox T3 BiMetal hole saws i bought...I bought lenox really liking the performance of the band saw blades. But the biggest problem i have with these hole saws are how sloppy they are. There is just way too much runout. Is it a fair critique? Im really not sure, perhaps this is common or even not an issue when used with hand tools but i dont use them by hand, and know a quality drill will have as little run out as possible. But these are so bad you can see the runout with the naked eye.And then with any runout your prone to tooth damage. and ive knocked off teeth when mounting in rigid machines.Could this have been operator error... perhaps my speeds or feeds were too slow, but i see the run out and try to baby these things... they just disappoint.Well now i dont even use the band saw blades anymore in favor of MKMorse so im not going to be buying these hole saws anymore either.I use these in a Bridgeport Mill. I can turn the speed down enough that the saw does not generate too much heat, and typically cut through steel, up to 3/4" thick... so far. The other hole saws that I have used are Milwaukee, Starrett, & Dayton. Most are similar to the Lenox with the exception of the Milwaukee "Dozer" hole saw. It works, but It is too coarse for me. The depth of cut for the Lenox is deeper than the others, and sometimes is a benefit for me. Overall, I am pleased with the ones that I own. Lastly, for metal, keep the speed low, and frequently allow the chips to clear by raising the saw. An air gun helps. Even for wood, lift the saw frequently and allow the chips to clear, using an air hose if possible. This saw, and all saws of this design must be raised frequently for chip clearout. We ordered this and received in only a few days. Nice quality and I think you will like it also. These are a very affordable , quality hole saw, I have used them for years and keep buying all the sizes for work. I recommend them and I am picky. I have to use theses on high end jobs, modifying quality pieces of furniture and custom pieces as well as, more common uses, they haven’t let me down. They were packaged well and they shipped very fast!I love Lenox hole saw products. I already had the center piece needed, so this product was perfect for my needs. I am residing my house, so I have used this hole saw at least 30 (14 light boxes and 16 X 4' cans) times, and it is still cutting through the wood like it did on the first cut.Great ProductHad to take one star off for the fact that it does not come with a central drill bit. Feel for the price it should. OVerall it works and drills nice. Just used it a few times but will update as I use it.These are super hole saws, with a well designed system where the arbor and interfaces are well executed, and every saw cuts true. Though these are not the least expensive option, for anyone doing significant amount of work, these are well worth the difference in price and will last.Replaced my old cut rate set with these and am very happy with all the results.I've been a tradesman for 40 years. I have used many different brands. With these latest improvements these are the best of the bunch.Bought this to cut a large hole in some fairly thick sheet metal. I wasn't sure if it was going to be up to the task, but it cut through it like butter and left a nice clean cut circle. Only complain is I had to buy the arbor for it separately, but excellent product for the price.I needed to cut a 3 5/8" hole in the hood of a tractor and this hole saw cut through the plastic leaving a smooth edge and didn't need any cleaning up after. Great product
