I bought this saw for cutting contours in Laminate flooring. So far it works great and nice to not have to worry about the cord. For me the price was right because I already have the charger and batteries so I was buying just the bare tool. I really like the LED light as my old corded Bosh doesn't have that and following a line can be challenging if lighting is not really good.I think I will get a lot of use from this saw as long as I can get batteries. My fear with all these newer battery power tools is that 15 years from now I have a great saw but can use it because the batteries are obsolete (I think they intentionally change battery mounting designs and voltages just to make older models obsolete sooner). Hopefully the aftermarket crowd will continue to sell batteries for vintage tools.I like everything about it. Just FYI it does not come with battery or charger. I had those things so it didn’t really make a difference to me.It is pretty darn heavy which makes it a bit unwieldy for over head operations. It is great for precision, power, and ruggedness. Features are well engineered.Many (but not all) of my hand held power tools are Milwaukee. As much as anything I was buying it because it's compatible with my M18 batteries. In any case, I've been pleasantly surprised. I'm building a solid cherry dining room table for some friends. This saw (with a T345XF blade) cut through 8/4 (2 inch) thick cherry with no problem whatsoever. It handled a 7 foot rip in, well, I wasn't timing it to be honest. Let's just say the only thing slowing it down was me. Would I buy this again? No question. Yes.this is the best most powerful jigsaw I have ever owned. Awesome tool. Power to cut 2x lumber no problem.I was worried ordering a name brand product off of Amazon, But the product showed up and works as it should. The only complaint I have is not of the product itself but the way the item was shipped. It showed up in the original milwaukee box. This was sitting out in front of my door for hours for anyone to see and grab. Atleast hide the box in another box or something to protect the buyer a little bit here. The seller shipped out the same day or next day I can't remeber but he was quick with it. Besides that I'm super happy with the productGrate saw very strong and fast cutting saw. The ouly complaint, and it is quite major, is that some blades want to twist to a 45 when inserted. This can really be a pain. Good overall jigsaw though.
