Great for rough cuts or if accuracy is not paramount. I had to trim my tracks to make them flush when you join them. (I bought two sets of tracks and frankly, none of them joined up flush. They were all off a slight bit, but enough to make joining them a pain. After I trimmed the edges on my table saw the tracks joined flush. The Tracks are 16x3/4". I trimmed them down to 16x1/2", split the 1/4" inch evenly from both ends. The tracks where also warped. I finessed them as flat as I could but you get what you pay for. I would not buy this again and since I bought a dewalt tracksaw, which has performed a whole lot better. But again price comparison says it all. You will also need to re-glue all the friction rubber as they will come off (bad glue). This track works great with the saw that it’s designed for. I didn’t have any trouble cutting a sheet of 1/2” (7/16”) plywood. If it has the power to cut a 2x4, then it should cut through 3/4” material also. Clearly this tract is designed for straight cuts and not beveled ones. It’s possible you may be able to remove it from the trac and use the trac as a straight edge for a bevel cut. Check that once the blade is tilted that it will cut through your material. Well worth the price!Concept is pretty cool. Cuts nice straight lines. First time cutting I did destroy some of the rubber padding but seems to still work good. Also it does not glide easily down the track you gotta force it a little. And it’s setup for a lefty which I am not. But does cut nicely once you get. The hang of it. I’m considering getting another for longer cuts. It’s hard to get nice straight cuts with that saw without a track. This guide works for their 4 1/2" bladed saw, as well as their smaller bladed one, with the laser sight. When using it, put the clamps ob the bottom (duh!) since the saw can't gp past them. So, my method of cutting, with my 7 1/4" saw, on 2x4s on the concrete doesn't work for this kit. Also, just be aware that the black plastic edging will probably be trimmed a little when you use it. At least with the 4 1/2" bladed saw.The more I use it, the better it gets. I wrote a less than worthy review a while back and I'd like to recant. As I have gotten more comfortable with the Genesis saw and track system. It has really began to pay for itself. Check twice, cut once still applies. We have all cut a board four time and it remains too short. The write-up (on Amazon) that multiple tracks can be connected is not completely accurate. The kits lack the additional connector to put the two sets together. I contacted the company and the rep was very helpful. He did not recommend connecting multiple sets and the company page has this track assembly limited to 48". The concern is the increased slop over a longer distance impacting accuracy. The company has the connectors for about $2 plus shipping and tax. Highly recommend. You will enjoy this set.I ordered two of these kits to go with my saw. One kit worked. The second kit was machined differently and my saw would not fit into the track.I ordered 2 sets to go with my saw so I could cut an 8 ft piece of plywood in half. Each set is supposed to cut at least 48 inches so 2 set were recommended for longer cuts. The saw is great but the track which comes with only 2 connectors per set could only be 5 track pieces long so I could not cut my board. I did try it for shorter cuts but the black rubber and green vinyl pieces are constantly coming off the track and sawdust gets into the adhesive. This track was a waste of my money and time. Would not buy again or recommend at all!The track fit tightly together and enables my track saw to accurately cut across the grains of underlayment boards. I use this saw all the time and the track is invaluable to making work as I need it. The clamps hold tight and are not a poor quality type.recently picked up one of their plunge cut saws, these rails were a no brainer for a budget track saw setup.Your first cut will remove most of the black PVC leaving an accurate edge so run the saw through them once before lining up your critical cut.linking bars are good, tightening has a positive feeling lock with a pair of setscrews. Track has some flex, green slide runner comes off easily so some CA glue keeps mine in place now.Clamps are absolute trash, to get them to grip you have to tighten to the point they flex (one little finger is enough to overtighten and distort them permanently) the fact the slide into the rail is excellent and I wish they were cast instead of bent weak steel. metal disk is sharp and will mar any piece you clamp, 5 cents worth of rubber or a felt pad fixes this obvious cost saving oversight.overall, not impressed but my expectations weren't high to begin with so they do the job for a hobby DIY maker.Good looking guide but totally garbage.Looks like a nice imitation of a Festool guide, connecting well and easy to align.Problem started right away when used, the green anti frictions parts fell off and a guide will not produce a straight square cut!!!La verdad no conocía los productos génesis pero son muy buenos al menos a mi me lo parecen. Respeto mucho otras opiniones que puedan existir pero hablo con toda sinceridad de lo que yo he experimentado. Muy buen precio y muy buen producto.Van siete semanas desde que se envió y aun no llega, entiendo que viene de lejos por lo que en dado caso que llegue podre cambiar la calificación.La compré para la sierra Tacklife Tcs115a y le quedó perfecta también la probé en la sierra Wen 3620 sin ningún problema,es de gran utilidad.
