In prior years, the blades from the specialty manufacturers were significantly better than those from the tool manufacturers. That has reversed now. I've found that the Makita blades perform the best though shop carefully to get a good price. They sell out and then often they are only available from overpriced sellers. I solved the problem by keeping several extra blades in stock, enough to get me through the summer.
