My husband was lent a bench saw for cutting wood for our open fire. On looking at Amazon there are loads of these blades and I read carefully through what they were to be used for whether it be hardwood or softwood. On reading a review on this blade I saw that it had been used for cutting all types of wood including hardwood. The seller delivered this item promptly and it was well packaged. It is good quality and I would say it is better quality than the one it replaced.
